A MAN is in police custody following the search Tuesday of a vehicle which unearthed a quantity of cannabis sativa (marijuana).The police has reported that around 19:15 hrs on March 3, 2015, two police ranks were in a minibus at Rosignol, West Bank Berbice, when they became aware of an odour in the vehicle, as a result of which the vehicle was subsequently searched.
A total of seven kilograms 196 grams of marijuana were found concealed in the vehicle. The man was arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigation.
