Kaieteur News – A soap in tabloid

ARE we witnessing the playing out of a new soap in print? Leading role, Freddie Kissoon, the narcissist, Stella Ramsaroop, the feminist and supporting roles Adam Harris, the  joker  and Glen Lall, the Broker? The story line started off with Freddie accusing Stella of sitting on the fence in her approach to journalism. Stella responded by inviting Freddie to discuss matters over coffee, but Freddie was too scared, so he concocted some lies about buying CDs and then having to get home because his meat would spoil.

Stella felt rejected but responded by writing a piece about Freddie feeling neglected and how he goes on the attack and needs more attention and a good smacked ass every so often for being a naughty boy!

Scene 1 comes to a close with Freddie appealing to Stella that he is a good boy, but the President had treated him badly, calling him a thief, etc. He even promised to buy her a skirt, to win her affection again.

Scene 2- enters Adam, the joker. He discovered that Freddie had lied about an investigation for his article and embarrassed Freddie publicly.

You can’t do this to a narcissist, Adam! How dare you? You could have sacked him for being unprofessional but you didn’t. Instead, the Joker went to Stella and asked her help to get Freddie on track, he was worried about credibility.

Lots of supporting acts have complained about Freddie’s arrogance, lies, insults, etc. The President is also thinking about closing the paper down. What can Stella do? She obliged by telling Freddie he was irresponsible and reprimanded him by making him stand in some corner for however long!

The scene closes with the wrath of Freddie’s pen! With one almighty stab he brought his pen down into the heart of Stella! ‘You know nothing about journalism.’ Remember, I am Freddie, king kong and god-zilla?

Scene 3 – yet to be played. Will Stella rise from the dead? You have to buy the paper. In the meanwhile, the broker is busy counting his money, rather your money!
