Guyana experienced a light tremor around 11:20 hours . The shaking lasted for about five seconds, and brought business to a brief pause. Following the incident, many took to social media to say how they felt about the incident. Caribbean 360 this morning reported that residents in Barbados reported feeling the tremors from a 5.3 magnitude earthquake that struck about off the island.
People living in nearby St Vincent and the Grenadines as well as Martinique also indicated they felt the tremor.
There were no reports of damage.
