THE Guyana Industrial Training Centre (GITC) created history yesterday when they hammered Richard Ishmael Secondary 16-0 at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, in this year’s Digicel Schools football tournament. It was the largest margin of victory in the tournament’s five-year history and the Woolford Avenue team were led by an eight-goal blitz from Robby McChaggan and a helmet-trick from Darrel Jones.
Juan Bailey, Paul Chung, Sean Alfred and Okemroy Hoppie scored a goal each for GITC who will now move on to play Christ Church Secondary.
