GCB/CGI Jaguars Franchise announces contract adjustments.

FOLLOWING Leon Johnson being awarded a central contract with the West Indies Cricket Board WICB), the Guyana Cricket Board/Cricket Guyana Inc. has made some adjustments in the various levels of contracts for some Guyana Jaguars franchise players.Talented left-handed batsman Narsingh Deonarine has moved from a ‘B’ contract to an ‘A’, wicketkeeper/batsman Anthony Bramble has moved from a ‘C’ to a ‘B’ and teenage left-handed opener Shimron Hetmyer moves from an Academy contracted player to a ‘C’ contract.

In the Academy list, Jonathan Foo has filled the vacancy left by Hetmyer and former national Under-17 wicketkeeper-batsman Dexter Solomon has replaced Jason Sinclair from Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club, after Sinclair failed to report for training during the month of February.
The new Academy players signed their contracts last Tuesday at the CGI Office and commenced training shortly after with the Guyana Jaguars, at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, in preparation for their eighth-round clash with the Jamaica Franchise from tomorrow.
Players occupying the various contracts are as follow: ‘A’ CONTRACTS: Raymon Reifer, Assad Fudadin, Devendra Bishoo, Veerasammy Permaul, and Narsingh Deonarine.
‘B’ CONTRACTS: Christopher Barnwell, Ronsford Beaton, Rajendra Chandrika, Keon Joseph, and Anthony Bramble, ‘C’ CONTRACTS: Trevon Griffith, Paul Wintz, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Vishaul Singh, and Shemron Hetmyer.
ACADEMY CONTRACTS: Gudakesh Motie, Kandasammy Surujnarine, Jonathan Foo, Raun Johnson, Dexter Solomon, Ricardo Adams, Kemo Paul, Raj Nannan, Steven Sankar, Robin Bacchus, Kemol Savory, and Kevon Boodie.
