Farmer found dead in Lower Pomeroon home

FIFTY-three-year-old Mannie Nobegra of St John, in the Lower Pomeroon River, was found dead in his house Monday morning. Reports say the man, who was a farmer, lived alone. He was never married, and had no children.
According to reports, a friend of his went to visit him early Monday morning when the discovery was made.
The body was taken to the Charity Hospital mortuary where a post-mortem will be be performed to determine the cause of death.
Police investigations are in progress.
