Digicel takes dental outreach to Hararununi, Port Mourant –other areas to soon follow

DIGICEL Guyana on Wednesday said that they will continue with their back-to-school dental outreach in which children benefit from oral health care free of cost across Guyana.The dental team on Monday saw more than 30 children during the outreach at Hararununi, on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.

The children came from Kuru Kuru, Hararununi and other villages along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway for their free dental check-ups.

“We have completed four of the eight areas that were selected for this year’s dental outreach programme; we are looking forward to visiting the other areas and hoping for bigger responses than we have gotten so far. The response has been tremendous,” said Sponsorship Executive, Louanna Abrams.

The team visited Port Mourant, Berbice on Wednesday and attended to more than 70 children from there and surrounding areas.

Digicel’s dental outreach was scheduled to be at the KK Gas station in Mahaica, East Coast Demerara yesterday and is carded to be at Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo at the Two Brothers Service Station area today.

The Digicel dental team tomorrow will be at the Anna Regina Market Square in Essequibo. The outreach caters for children between the ages for 6-16 years and starts at 10:00hrs on selected days.
