CJ grants 12 petitioners $4.5M bail – pending determination of their cases

ACTING Chief Justice Mr. Ian Chang, SC., yesterday granted 12 petitioners bail in the sum of $4,545,000 pending determination of their cases.Particulars follow:

For possession of narcotics, Seon Brewster was placed on $150,000 bail; Rayon Baldeo was placed on $100,000 bail; Conrade Hackett and Paul Coleman were each granted $650,000 bail; Clorunda Evans was granted $275,000 bail; and Mervyn Griffith and Shiwogobin were each placed on $300,000 bail.

For discharging a loaded firearm, Mahadai Singh was placed on $150,000 bail.

For break and enter, Errol Johnson was granted bail in the sum of $400,000.

For unlawful assault, Lennox Fortune was granted $20,000 bail.

For robbery under arms, Anthony David was placed on $850,000 bail.

And for possession of firearm and ammunition, Neon Howard was placed on $700,000 bail.
