AFTER a series of trials, the Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) has selected its respective junior male and female Under-16 teams for the national junior volleyball competition, organised by the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF).The tournament is billed for Saturday in Demerara.
The teams were selected by the president and national head coach Levi Nedd along with several coaches.
The male team reads: Andy Rohoman, Cleon France, Kellon Singh, Diamyon Singh, Addrey France, Homchand Dhanpat, Jeremy Seelochand, Ryan Rajunauth, Shaun Penuex, Levi Nedd Jr, Ueral Felix and Kevin Madramootoo. The team will be managed by Chandradat Ramdharry while the coach is Vivian Felix.
On the distaff side, the players selected are: Candacy Mentore, Krystal Paddy, Tlana Simpson, Urmilla Adrian, Jessica Adrian, Sheliza Edwards, Becky Penuex, Stephanie Lewis, Anisha Mohabir, Anika Eastman and Allyia Ally. The manager is Udisteer Seelochan, with Keishan Persaud as the coach.
