INVESTIGATIONS are being conducted into a fatal accident at about 17:30hrs last Friday in the Poke Bridge, Lethem Trail area, which resulted in the death of motorcyclist Lindy Ambrose, 27, of Haiwa, Central Rupununi, police said.
Initial investigations indicate that Ambrose attempted to overtake a motor lorry during which he lost control of the vehicle and was run over by the lorry. He was pronounced DOA at the Lethem Hospital.

The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
