A Venezuelan woman who was dropped off at the Mahdia Hospital by a motorcyclist was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Dead is Genesis Falcon, 28, of Black Water Landing, Konawaruk, Region Eight.
Reports indicate that she was transported to the Mahdia Hospital at about 10:00hrs on Thursday last by a male Rastafarian.

At the time, the woman was unconscious and he told nurses that the woman had malaria and did not eat for approximately four days.

When contacted, police said the man also told the nurses he was going to locate Falcon’s sister and return. At about 10:20hrs, doctor examined the female and pronounced her dead.

The body is currently at the Mahdia Hospital Mortuary awaiting a post mortem as investigation continues.
