FINANCIAL members of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) have been invited to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).

According to a notice posted in the dailies, the club has invited all the members to adopt the financial report for the 2018 season.

According to GMR&SC President, Rameez Mohamed, the move is to ratify all data ahead of the elections set for early next year.

“We want to ensure that our house is order moving into 2020. We encourage all financial members to show up and ask whatever questions they may have,” Mohamed said.

Meanwhile, the club has released a provisional schedule for the 2020 season commencing with an endurance meet on January 26.

The first circuit-racing event of the season is set for February 16 with Drag racing set for March 15.

Circuit racing returns on July 5 with the highly anticipated International Drag race set for August 16.

Round two of the Endurance Championship is set for September 13 with the last round of Drag racing set for October 4^th.

The International Circuit-racing event is set for November 8.The karting calendar is being worked on and will be added in the coming days, a source from the club stated.
