Six months for stealing chickenOMALO Dick, 26, wash bay helper was on Tuesday sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for simple larceny by Magistrate Rondel Weaver at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

Dick, a wash bay helper of ‘A’ Field, Sophia, was on trial for the charge which reads that on June 22, 2019, at ‘D’ Grill Kings, Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, he stole 170 pounds of chicken valued $51,680, property of Rawle Burkett.

Dick was found guilty of the offence in absentia since he did not attend court that day. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
