Blairmont Estate worker’s home burgled while he’s asleep

MURPHY Dam resident, Imran Ameer was shocked upon awaking to discover that his Rosignol Village home had been robbed of cash and valuables totalling just under $1M.
The Blairmont Estate employee, who was away on vacation, had only a few hours ago got in from the airport and turned in to bed just before 20:45hrs.

After getting out of bed, he immediately went to the lower flat of the two-storey wooden and concrete building, only to discover that the house had been ransacked, and that his 42” flat-screen television (valued $85,000) was missing, as were two Nintendo games (valued $140,000), a quantity of alcoholic beverages ($200,000), $80,000 in local currency as well as US$2100.

Following the discovery, he went to check on his surveillance camera and saw the perpetrators in action as they carried out the robbery.
He has since voiced his concern, however, over the unresponsiveness of the cops, who, despite he shared the evidence with them, have not yet gotten back to him on the matter.
