THE countdown to arguably the biggest fete in May has officially begun. FWB (Friends with Benefits), is slated for May 24 at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground on Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown.

Marlon Jacobs, the ‘Freedom Boss’, continues to speak well of his party and his high expectations, despite the many ‘fight- downs’ he’s up against.

He told ‘The Buzz’ that based on ticket sales thus far, he averages that about 10,000 patrons will be in attendance. However, the wellspring of support he’s been getting seems to be posing a threat, as many of the posters around town have been defaced, and there were occasions where persons were caught ripping them down.

But this has not daunted his spirit nonetheless, because he continues to push and promote his endeavour, and has been getting immense support.

Since the party is tailored to give his fans a treat for continuously supporting the parties thrown by Freedom Family, thousands have been flocking the ticket locations to secure their passes.

The few tickets left for FWB

And with only a few tickets left, Jacobs is urging persons to get them while they’re still available, as the gate price is now $4000. “Also, the importance of seeking early-bird passes is because you can only bring a friend for free with those passes,” Jacobs said.

In addition to the many giveaways and show of appreciation to his many supporters, the Freedom Boss is using the party to create a platform for local DJs to showcase their skillset.

He assured ‘The Buzz’ that security will not be an issue, as he has gotten the full support of the Guyana Police Force, and they will be surrounding the venue.

FWB is an appreciation party in celebration of Freedom Family’s fifth anniversary.
