THE administration of the New Opportunity Corps (NOC) and the police of ‘G’ Division are searching for five inmates who escaped from the juvenile holding facility on Friday at around 08:00 hrs.

The students, who were housed in the confinement area, west of the compound, ran away after they were taken out by staff to shower. They escaped through a tube under the western fence, reports say.

On March 25-26, five other inmates had escaped but one has since returned.

Police are hunting for the escapees.
