— Deputy Commissioner Williams tells cops
DEPUTY Commissioner (Administration) Paul Williams has urged cops to conduct themselves with pride and dignity both in and out of uniform during a visit to the
Special Constabulary (S/C) Headquarters on Wednesday.
At a recent visit at the Special Constabulary located at Lot 4 Princess Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown, Williams inspected a parade of 30 ranks after which he was ushered into the auditorium where the National Pledge was recited, followed by a prayer.
During his welcoming remarks, Officer-in-charge of Special Constabulary, Special Superintendent Owen Trotz took time out to highlight some of the challenges which are encountered by special constables while performing their duties.
Second-in-Charge of Administration/Operations of the Special Constabulary, Woman Special Assistant Superintendent, Debra Dey, introduced the deputy commissioner, who, during his address, urged the ranks to go the extra mile and to qualify themselves so as to be elevated within the Force.
He pleaded with the ranks to live a healthy lifestyle and continue to perform their duties with a high level of professionalism.
Woman Special Inspector Halda King thanked Williams for his inspiring words of wisdom and added that ranks of the Special Constabulary will continue to uphold the good image of the Force
