THE Manager of the Rio Night Club and Inn, was, on Monday, February 11, 2019, arraigned before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus for using the hotel rooms as brothel for prostitution purposes.

Andy Bynoe called ‘Montana’, 32, made his appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Particulars of the charge alleged that, between November 1, 2018 and February 5, 2019, at Forshaw Street, Georgetown, while being the manager of Rio Inn and Night Club, he knowingly used the building as a brothel.

Bynoe’s attorney, Keoma Griffith, made an application for bail. Police Prosecutor Quinn Harris made no objection to bail, but requested that conditions be attached.

Magistrate Isaacs-Marcus released Bynoe on $30,000 bail with the condition that he reports to the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Headquarters at Eve Leary every Friday until the completion of trial. The matter was adjourned until February 18, 2019.
