THE suspect in relation to the murder of Orlando Joseph, a farmer of Koriabo Village, Barima, North West District, who was killed on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, is in police custody assisting with investigations, police confirmed.

According to the police, it is alleged that 26-year-old Joseph was killed in Koriabo Village, Barima, North West District by the suspect, who lives in the community.

An initial investigation revealed that, at about 15.30 hours on Tuesday, Joseph and the suspect had a misunderstanding and the suspect armed himself with a bow and arrow and shot Joseph in the upper region of his body.

Joseph was taken to the Mabaruma Public Hospital where he was treated and admitted but later succumbed to his injury.
