THIS route 41 minibus bearing number plate BWW 4714 flipped multiple times on Home Stretch Avenue, Georgetown on Thursday evening. Reports are that four passengers received minor injuries and were taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital while the driver fled the scene.

The passenger who was seated in the front seat believes the driver lost control of the vehicle. Owner of the bus, Simone Trotman, told the Guyana Chronicle that she is unable to say who was driving the bus at the time of the accident, since her appointed driver would usually give other persons the bus to drive when he is tired. Eyewitnesses say the driver appeared to be under the influence.
