THE National Congress of Women (NCW), the women’s arm of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) joins with all of Guyana in remembering the eader of our party and the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in our prayers for a speedy recovery.

The NCW took a hard blow like any child receiving the news of the illness of a beloved parent. Nevertheless, under the leadership of our National Chairperson, the Honourable Volda Lawrence, a woman of great faith and herself a “Cancer Warrior,” we have turned to lifting him up in our prayers. We know that our David is a God-fearing person and as such he too is a man of great faith. Deuteronomy 31:6 tells us, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Our David will overcome.

Cde. Leader, we are all sending our thoughts and prayers your way to wish you a speedy recovery; hope you get well soon and enjoy the best of health, so that you can lead us all to a good life.
