FOOTBALL action in the Girls U-11 Smalta tournament commenced yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground with several teams registering wins.
St Stephen’s were the first to register a win when their opponents Mae’s failed to show up. South Ruimveldt also registered a win over Genesis via 2-0 margin, thanks to a brace from Feyon Harry (10th &12th).
North Georgetown were also winners over St Pius, thanks to the decisive strike from Jadea Maison in the 25th minute.
Smith Memorial were also 2-0 winners over St Margaret’s, compliments of Dellana Small (3rd) and Kellyana Alert (17th). Tucville blanked F.E. Pollard 2-0 thanks to Fantisha Prass (15th and 35th).
West Ruimveldt netted twice to conclude the day with nine goals after Kenetta Abrams (3rd) and Shellon David (14th) downed Enterprise 2-0
