THE Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha, East Bank Demerara Praant annual Diwali Motorcade and Cultural show is billed for 19:00hrs on Saturday at the Diamond Market Tarmac, Diamond New Housing Scheme.

According to a release, the motorcade leaves Timehri and Providence respectively at 17:00hrs to assemble at G3 building for the first phase of the judging at 18:00hrs.

More than 15 floats have so far confirmed participation in the East Bank Demerara leg of the motorcade, the Sabha said, and noted that other attractions include the Dax New Generation Band, to be supported by Travellers Sound System.

There will also be performances from the Nachgana Dance Academy, artistes from various mandirs and a special appearance by Miss India-Guyana 2018. Admission is free and no alcohol is allowed.
