The skeletal remains of a man were on Tuesday found aback of Diamond, East Bank Demerara, police have confirmed.

The remains were found around 13:00hrs. Police average the unidentified male age as 50. The body was clad in a blue jersey, a pair of blue jeans, a pair of blue and white socks, a pair of brown sneakers and had what appeared to be a bandage wrapped around the left hand. The remains are presently lying at Lyken’s Funeral Parlour awaiting identification and an autopsy.
