Reports are that close to a dozen employees of the Pritipaul Singh Investments fisheries complex on the lower East Bank of Demerara have been rushed to the hospital around 1400hrs today after a gas leak left some persons in an unconscious state.

This publication understands that three pregnant women were among the staff who were rushed to a private hospital in the city.
