Mason gets bail on burglary charge

SENIOR Magistrate Fabayo Azore on Wednesday released a 25-year-old mason on $75,000 bail for allegedly breaking into a house and stealing a quantity of items.

Ceon Isaacs of West Ruimveldt squatting area appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Particulars of the charge alleged that Isaacs, between October 5 and October 6, 2018, at Lot 15, West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, broke and entered the home of Shireen Allen and stole a quantity of items valued $305,000, property of Isaiah Booker.

The unrepresented man pleaded not guilty to the charge and Police Prosecutor Warren Thornhill made no objection to bail being granted.

Isaacs was released on $75,000 bail and the matter was adjourned until November 14.
