A YOUNG man of Enmore, East Coast Demerara, was stabbed to death on Saturday night by his father, who is said to be an alcoholic.

The dead young man has been identified as “Kevin”, a joiner by profession.

The Guyana Chronicle was told that the father and son were involved in an argument and during the heated exchange, the father stabbed his son in the abdomen with a louvre pane.

After being stabbed, the son reportedly ran to his mother and collapsed and died in her arms.

The father has since been arrested and police has launched an investigation into the incident.
