TEAM Mohamed’s Enterprise riding duo of Matt Truelove and his brother Harry have locked out the front row for today’s opening race of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championships (CMRC) Round three in Barbados.

Matt Truelove sits on pole for today’s first race with his brother Harry Truelove second and Matthew Vieira third.

Matt’s time of 1:02.937 is one of the fastest recorded in the CMRC superstock class with Harry’s 1:03.726 seconds just eight-tenths off.

Matthew Vieira’s 1:05.218 was third with Rovario Tucker, down in seventh after posting a 1:12.212.

Matt told Chronicle Sport that “it’s another great performance for team Mohamed’s Enterprise and I hope that we continue strong throughout the weekend”.

Meanwhile in the CMRC GP2, Rameez Mohamed was able to qualify third with a time of 1:12.966.

“We got that car late yesterday (Friday) so we were not able to do a lot of testing. We are now working on the suspension but we did manage to qualify third so we are looking good.”

Former champion and Trinidadian Marc Gill posted a pole sitting time of 1:10.106 with countryman Justin Sanguinette adding a 1:10.379.

In the group three class, Rameez Mohamed will start at the back of the pack after not posting a qualifying time with group four being led by Guyanese Mark Vieira with a pole sitting time of 1:02.140

Vieira told Chronicle Sport, “The car has been working wonderfully since round two in Trinidad and I think that we are going to have a fantastic day tomorrow (today).”

Andrew King, who is also a member of Team Guyana, will start fourth behind Orry Hunte and Doug Maloney.
