Guyana racquet-wielders leave for Caribbean Mini and Pre Cadet championship

KAYSAN Ninvalle and Jonathan Van Lange will form the core of Guyana’s challenge for honours in the 13-and-Under category when the Caribbean Mini and Pre Cadet championship serves off in the Dominican Republic early next week.

Ninvalle, the national Under-15 king and Van Lange the local Under-13 champion are teaming up for the doubles and team events. The duo team dubbed ‘NinVan’ left Guyana yesterday for the championship along with other team members and official.

The Under-11 Boys will comprise Dhanesh Persaud, Alexander DeAbreu, Malachi Moore and Colin Wong while the Under-13 Boys will be led by current national champion Van Lange and the others are 2016 gold medallist Ninvalle, Krystian Sahadeo and Christopher Barrow.

The female Under-11 unit will feature Jasmine Billingy, Akera Watson, Samara Sukhai and Rachel Saunders while Titans’ Thuraia Thomas will lead the female Under-13 line-up with the likes of Nkechi McRae, Tatyana Mohamed and Roze-Anna Saunders completing the team.
