Fire razes GFC’s Soesdyke living quarters

SEVERAL apartments in a building which housed the living quarters of employees of the Guyana Forestry Commission (GFC) at Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara were gutted by fire on Monday.



Reports are that the fire of unknown origin razed the building within minutes around midday on Monday. There were no reports of injuries.

Members of the Guyana Fire Service responded to the scene and are currently undertaking an investigation into the incident.
