Trio accused of breaking into ‘Chinese’ store

THREE men charged with stealing over $4.6M worth in items from a Regent Street ‘Chinese’ store were on Wednesday released on $75,000 bail each by city Magistrate Fabayo Azore, after denying the break and enter and larceny charge.

Martin Murry, 41, Troy Holmes, 41, and Paul Roberts, 36, were jointly charged for breaking into the business place of Zhen Yeng Fu between July 20, 2018 and July 21, 2018 at Alexander and Regent Streets and stealing the items valued at $4.6M. They were unrepresented and the prosecution made no objection to the men being granted bail.

Magistrate Azore released the men on $75,000 bail each and adjourned the matter until August 15
