THE remarkable success story of Berbice Cricket (BCB) continues to expand on a daily basis with new programmes and activities being unveiled to develop the game.

On Saturday last, President Hilbert Foster handed over First Division caps for the eleven confirmed clubs in Berbice senior cricket.

The caps were donated by Ansa Mcal under the Chief brand and would be used by the teams for the upcoming SKYY Vodka 20/20 tournament and the rest of the 2018 season.

Twelve caps each were handed over to the Upper Corentyne and Skeldon teams over the weekend.

Foster urged the players to wear the caps with pride and to play a major role in the restoration of Berbice Cricket.

He also expressed gratitude to Tami Khan and Kelvin Singh of Ansa Mcal for their cooperation. The other clubs that received caps are: West Berbice, Blairmont, Police, Young Warriors, Tucber Park, Albion, Rose Hall Canje, Port Mourant and Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club.
