THE recently launched DJ Stress ‘The Morning Drive Show’, a new-hit radio aired on RGI 89.5 FM, is set out to target young listeners especially, those suffering from relationship problems. Paul Adrian Bonar, Junior, popularly known as ‘DJ Stress’ said the radio show is filled with advice for young people who are having trouble dealing with some difficult issues..

During an interview with this publication, DJ Stress said that the “EDU-TAINMENT” programme is composed of food tips, personal health and academic directions. “Because it’s the first thing people would be hearing in the morning while driving to work or anywhere, I try to make it very educational. I try to instill positive values especially to the young listeners,” DJ Stress said.

Since the launch, he said he is overwhelmed with the positive support he has received from his listeners and the business community. Today, he said, the Morning Drive is popular across Guyana
.

The show is also packed with amazing giveaways such as Mighty Foam hampers and free passes to events. He explained that what makes the show interesting is the music: the not-often-heard dance remixes, rock n roll, Bollywood and chutney hits, 70’s, 80’s & 90’s dance tunes, South Korean chartbusters, pop and more, while eliminating all vulgarity and beeps that cover indecent words!

DJ Stress is very invested in the show. His day begins from five in the morning when he sits at his computer compiling the playlist for the day before heading off to the radio station.

Monday morning triggers the working week for many, and he says that mellow music with great meaningful and memorable lyrics is best way of starting the week off. This is his tactic since most people do not want to hear the pounding basslines and energetic beats on this day since they are trying to get back to the grind and transition into the working phase.

Tuesday is mix music day but on the energetic side. Wednesday, he said, belongs to love; whether it be great songs for the heart, tough heart-breaking memories or broken relationships. DJ Stress says everybody is in love with love. Thursday is where the time travel occurs with music hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s.

On Friday heading into weekend preparations, his playlist is backed with chutney and Bollywood hits.
As his radio show grows, DJ Stress is encouraging persons to stay updated with events and topics by adding him on Whatsapp at 609-5100“.
