An 18-year-old was on Tuesday released on $200,000 bail by City Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court for an alleged rape offence.

Etzer Hope was not required to plea to the charge which states that between June 7 and June 8 at Kamarang Airstrip, he allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl.

The matter which was held in-camera was transferred to the Kamarang Magistrate’s Court for hearing on June 18, next
