THE Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha Essequibo Coast Praant, Region Two, is in the act of sprucing up for the July 2, CARICOM Day invasion of Trinidadian artistes Neval Chatelall and Nirshard M.

The duo is scheduled for a live performance at the Anna Regina Community Centre and will be backed by the local Shakti Strings Orchestra.
Talented dancers from the Dharmic Nritya Sangh will be added fillip for the Essequibo audience.

The Trinidadian singers are known for the popular songs, “Tere bin”, “Chattle Musafa phir”, “Aben Nahee” along with Caribbean tunes.

Tickets for the show cost $2,000 and $1, 000 and are already on sale at Total Solutions Internet Café at Affiance, Jainarine Singh Furniture Store at Airy Hall and G and PJaigobin Supermarket at Anna Regina.
Gate open from 17:00hrs and showtime is 19:00hrs.

According to President of the Essequibo Coast Praant, Pandit Kaydar Persaud, all proceeds from the show will go towards the completion of the Anna Regina Kendra. The Kendra will serve as a hub for cultural activities and provide the opportunity for youths to hone their music and dancing skills.

He said it is the first time in years that the Praant will be staging international artistes and he is urging persons to support the family-oriented entertainment.
Pandit Persaud has thanked Essequibo businessmen Jainarine Singh and Ganesh Jaigobin for sponsoring the event.
