Two men appeared Wednesday before Acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Marcus on assault charges.

It was alleged that on May 26, 2018, Lawrence Smith assaulted and maliciously wounded Orin Keith.

The 46-year-old man denied the charge that was placed before him.
Fifty-year-old Keith was also charged with assaulting Smith. Keith was placed on $10,000 bail while Smith was placed on $30,000 bail for malicious wounding.
The matter was adjourned to May 31, 2018.
