RENE Marks was yesterday sentenced to one year in prison by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly for possession of a utensil used for illegal drug purposes.

It was alleged that on April 17, 2018 at Kitty, Georgetown, Marks was found with an improvised instrument used to smoke cannabis.

The 65-year-old man who has no fixed place of abode, pleaded guilty to the charge.
He was sentenced to one year in prison.
