… starts third in today’s race

KRISTIAN Jeffrey opened his Radical SR3 season in Europe with a podium finish in race one of the first round at Donington Park.

Jeffrey, through a post on his facebook wall, contended that the pace was good all weekend as he was within striking range of the top five drivers in free practice.
After qualifying, he managed fifth on grid where be begun to fight for positions immediately.

“We got up to 4th in lap 1, battling with the leaders and feeling comfortable. Conditions started to change and the rain came pouring down just before the halfway mark,” he said.
“Pushing on the slicks with the damp conditions, I got away with a spin which put me down to eight. However, we pushed hard all the way to the end, had a really good pit stop thanks to the team which helped a lot.”

Kristian Jeffrey carried good place in free practice and fought hard after a spin.

“We were able to mount the wet tyres and recovered to p3,” the two-time Caribbean champion concluded.
He starts third on the grid for the second race today at the same venue.
