TWO labourers from the Charity Housing Scheme were on Monday slapped with a simple larceny charge. Quinton Ashby, 36, and Richard Patricks, 21, pleaded not guilty to the charge which was read to them by Essequibo Magistrate Esther Sam at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.
The charge states that on March 29, 2018, the duo stole electrical appliances valued $309,500 from Dindyal Narine. They were granted $100,000 bail each and the case was adjourned until May 14.
