THE various winners of Sunday’s first National Race of Champions along with the winners of the King of the Strip Drag race meet were rewarded on Monday evening.

The event, which also doubled as an appreciation and awards ceremony for the officials and marshals of the club, took place in the parking lot of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club’s (GMR&SC) Thomas Lands office.

Marshals were given plaques of appreciation for their commitment to the sport throughout the years.

The winners of the recently concluded king of the strip drag race meet were also awarded.
