The decomposing body of man was discovered floating in the Pomeroon River on Monday morning .

The man’s body was discovered by residents at Grant Lower Pomeroon. According to reports  the body was seen by a farmer floating next to a boat in the corner of the river. The body was tied to the boat.

Police ranks  from the Charity outpost subsequently visited the scene to ascertain the man’s identity .
