SEVERAL persons were injured Sunday evening after a route 50 minibus BWW4358 proceeding at a fast rate of speed crashed into a tractor trailer along the Fairfield Road, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara.

Reports indicate that the trailer was being driven out from a dam and the minibus driver who was speeding could not have stopped in time to prevent the accident. Below are scenes from the aftermath of the crash.
