Motorcycle bandit strikes in Albouystown

A 39-year-old taxi driver attached to Green Ice Taxi Service was robbed by an armed motorcycle bandit of over $40,000 while driving through James Street Albouystown, Georgetown, on Phagwah Day.

Reports indicate that the taxi driver stopped for a woman while driving through Albouystown and while on James Street, the armed bandit riding a black and red Honda XR motor- cycle stopped in front the taxi, causing the driver to stop.

The robber then dismounted his motorcycle, pulled out a black handgun from his right side pants waist and pointed it to the taxi driver, demanding that he hand over his money.

The bandit then proceeded to push his hand into the gloves compartment of the taxi driver’s car, removing the aforementioned cash before hopping back onto his motorcycle, and escaping.
