INSPIRE Inc will be hosting its sixth annual Phagwah Festival at the Guyana National Stadium at Providence, East Bank Demerara today.

The organisers say that inevitably, the event would be one of the biggest to be held in the country, as people from all walks of life are expected to gather at the venue to participate in the festivities.

There will be an abundance of water, colourful powder and abeer at the event to guarantee patrons a fun time.
Sprinkles will be set up, food stalls will be in place, and already the artistes are rearing to begin their performance.

This year, the entertainment group will be concentrating on promoting local artistes, and from all indications, those slated to perform will undoubtedly energise patrons.
Among those slated to perform are the members of the Shakti Strings Band and Prince JP.
The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Social Cohesion, Hindus United for Guyana and Inspire Inc.
Admission is absolutely free.
