THIRTY-FIVE goals were scored as the second night of the annual Corona Futsal tournament got going at the National Gymnasium on Tuesday.

In the first game, a goal fest ensued with Showstoppers overpowering Tucville 6-4. A hat-trick for Dexroy Adams (5th, 13th and 18th) was complemented by single strikes from Trayon Bobb (19th), Marvin Josiah (12th) and Ryan James (13th). There were four different goal-scorers for Tucville, starting with Dellon Williams (3rd), Jahall Greaves (6th), Raphael Edwards (14th) and Dennis Edwards (17th)
Game two saw Alpha Warriors down Kingston 5-1 with Benji scoring a hat-trick with strikes in the 10th second, 1st and 8th minutes. Akosi Jervis added his goal in the 15th minute and Delwin Fraser added the final nail in the 17th. Nigel Denny’s 5th minute goal was the only strike for Kingston.

Bent Street were also big winners over California Square, ending with a 5-0 margin thanks to a double from Ryan Hackett (6th and 12th), Solomon Austin (12th), Travis Lyken (19th) and Andrew Murray 19th.

Ol Skool Ballers were also victors on the night with a 4-1 win over New Market Street. Orlando Rickett’s 13th minute strike was the only registered goal for New Market. On the other end, Raushan Ritch’s brace (12th and 13th) along with Omari James and Fabian Crawford, 18th and 11th, respectively, sealed the deal.

Channel Nine were on the end of a beat-down, losing to North East 4-0 with Kelvin Moore scoring back-to-back goals in the 5th and 6th and Mickel Brandt and Keifer Brandt also scoring in the 13th and 14th.

West Front Road also overcame Sophia by a 4-1 margin with Jamal Pedro (6th), Hubert Pedro (18th), Collin Nelson (16th) and Joshua Brown (17th) each scoring. Dwayne Lowe (17th) scored for Sophia.
