A VENDOR was yesterday charged with two counts of robbery and remanded to prison.

It was alleged that on February 11, 2018, on the Seawall Road, Nicholas Smith was armed with a gun and in the company of two others, robbed Dexter David of one gold chain worth $60,000, one Samsung phone worth $62,000 and $1,000 cash.

It was further alleged that on that same day, Smith robbed Kevin Ramlall of one gold chain, one phone and one wallet worth $3,000.

The 22-year-old man pleaded not guilty to both charges, but he was refused bail by Magistrate Fabayo Azore and remanded to prison.
