THREE alleged ‘trunkers’ were Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate Fabayo Azore for breaking into several cars which were parked in the vicinity of the National Park during the “Flashback” show” last week.
Eon Thompson, a 35-year-old taxi driver of West Ruimveldt, Courtney Sabula a 33-year-old
mechanic of Republic Park, East Bank Demerara and Marlon Williams a 38-year-old bus driver of “B” Field Sophia are all jointly charged for allegedly breaking into the motorcar of Ricky Nods and stealing a car battery, two rearview mirrors, a music set and other items totalling $375,000.
It is further alleged that the trio, between January 6, 2018 and January 7, 2018 at Georgetown, broke and entered the car of Kenneth David and stole a tape deck, amplifier and other items totalling $153,200. Additionally, on the same day, it is alleged that the trio broke into the minibus of Derrick Henry and stole a minibus jack, a spanner and mirror total value of $78,900. The unrepresented men denied all the charges and were released on $25,000 bail on each count. The matter has been adjourned until February 7.
