CG bandits rob school teacher of $1.2M

A 50 year-old teacher of Alberttown, Georgetown was on Tuesday morning robbed of $1.2M by two “CG” motorcycle bandits .

The robbery occurred in front of the woman’s home , shortly after she visited a commercial bank in the city. During the attack , the  bandits  took away the woman’s identification card and her keys.

Reports are that the woman visited the bank on Camp Street in the city and on arrival there , she asked the taxi driver to wait outside the bank until she completed her transaction.

The woman then rejoined the taxi and headed to her residence in Alberttown . As she approached her gate , the two armed bandits pounced on her and escaped with her belongings.

Police are investigating the matter.
