TODAY is the last day of the year. Where did the last 365 days go? I had the relaxing Christmas I anticipated and did not change anything in my house.

After breakfast, I started to watch Greenleaf which is produced by Oprah Winfrey. I have been meaning to watch this series for a while which was recommended by my daughter Shonta. For some people, it may seem like a boring day but for me it was perfect.
This is the first year I did not have my foster kids at the house and I did miss them but will make it up to them in the New Year. I had made a decision that December will not be hectic because I need my mindset to be in alignment for an explosive year of growth for 2018.

I was on First Look a few days ago and while waiting on my interview I was listening to the host Handell talking about how many people he knew that died in the month of December, and I was thinking about one in particular who was a good friend of mine. I mentioned Gregory Christani AKA `Peppers’ in the last chapter of LIVING WITH INTENTION.

I could not help mentioning Peppers when I was mentioning people I admired who are givers. So sad he never got a chance to read my first book. He supported Guyana Fashion Week from its inception. He had a heart for people and many will miss him. I am happy I recently passed by Water Chris to see him and had a delicious lunch. He was sitting next to me and we engaged in the normal teasing. There is no way you can be at the famous Water Chris table and not laugh. Every so often I think about life and death and I know I am not the only one who does. We are as fragile as human beings and it is an enigma why we sometimes engage in petulant behaviour.

My main focus for 2018 is to make it a year of explosive growth, God’s willing. It is a great time to get our mind, body and soul in alignment. We need to review where we are and the people around us. Not everyone will continue this journey with you and you may have to let go of some people if you are desirous of moving forward.

I am working on my accelerated growth plan and a detailed roadmap is essential. A great team is also vital because I can’t do it alone. One is too small of a number to achieve greatness and teamwork makes the dream work. My mind, body and soul have to be in alignment with the direction of the journey I am anticipating. It is a great time to evaluate your 2017 and make big and small plans for 2018. Press the reset button.

I am in a giving mood so LIVING WITH INTENTION will be less than half price until tomorrow midnight on Amazon. It will make a great New Year’s gift. I’m so looking forward to the New Year’s Eve church service at Love & Faith and the social after the service. I’m looking forward to dancing and chatting with my brothers and sisters about the endless possibility a new year brings.
