A 28 -year old Guyana Defence Force rank succumbed to injuries he sustained following an accident at Lethem early Tuesday morning .

Dead is Devon Fraser called “Delta Force”.
The trombone player , who hails from Buxton was struck down by a motorcyclist who was reportedly drunk.

Fraser was said to be part of a contingent which is in the border town to take part in town day activities .

Police are investigating the incident
